Corpus Arcana – Blood magic brought to 5e from Hit Die Productions

  • END DATE: Mon, December 30 2024 4:00 PM EST.
  • SYSTEM(S): Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition
  • PROJECT TYPE: Sourcebook
  • MOST POPULAR PLEDGE: $25 for the digital book, adventure, and tokens
  • WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? This book promises blood magic for your 5e game. Starting with a new class, The Sanguimancer, complete with three subclasses, you’ll explore power paid for with blood. The subclasses, The Fleshweaver, the Hot blooded, and the Puppeteer, use hit dice to power their spells, giving an extra 5e gaming option. In addition, the Corpus Arcana sourcebook includes 38 new spells, 12 new subclasses for existing 5e classes, 15 villains, and bloody advice on worldbuilding. The campaign page does a good job of spelling out, at a high level, what blood magic and The Sanguimancer will look like at your gaming table. If you want to add a dark class to your dark fantasy 5e campaigns, this book may spark your interest.

This adventure zine lets you gear up and quest in a fantasy world. There are settlements to visit, regions to travel, and dungeons to delve. Going alone is faster and more profitable, if more dangerous. This 26-page zine has 3 settlements, 6 dungeons, 12 quests, and 80 monsters and traps. If you are a fan of solo RPGs and want something simple with a proven track record, I recommend checking out the Kickstarter page for Korg | Scars of Silvos.
