For RuneScape, this week features an update with some fixes and improvement, and the conclusion to some progression boost events, including another week of double XP access.

After recent big changes, the smaller update this week focuses on getting a few things working as they should be, while still offering some boosts for those who want to take advantage. Double XP will be available to claim until February 27th, but you’ll want to enable it earlier, since you can access up to 48 hours of double XP gains, pausing when you’d like. Then again, the team also points out something in the latest weekly update notes –there’s now Rested XP as a feature in RuneScape. Unlike double XP, which runs periodically as an event, Rested XP is now a permanent feature, so you can use what you earn for whatever skills need some juicing up.

There’s also another round of Treasure Hunter that comes to a close on Wednesday, with the next maintenance. Foresight to Train will end then, with a new week of Treasure Hunter to begin on February 23rd. Gemfall will return then for just four days, until February 27th. Gemfall will replace the usual Treasure Hunter chests with one chest that has multipliers over it. This edition gets its name from the chance that using a key might shatter the gems, and cause some to fall, which gets you extra goodies.

As for the weekly update, it’s dominated by a number of bug fixes, like fixing a glitch that was preventing players from unlocking virtual skill level achievements even though they had met all the requirements. Other issues like a rock that lacked collision blocking, and a little exploit that was letting players attempt pickpocketing on NPCs even though they didn’t meet the thieving level requirement to do so.

The recently added Fort Forthinry also got some tweaks, with new fixes that prevent Wilderness monsters from spawning inside the safe area, and another that made sure players trying to join a friend in their fort through the friends list don’t get teleported into the Wilderness.
