The new 4.7.2 minor update for Star Citizen adds a massive swathe of nearly a hundred missions for players to tackle in the Nyx system, the most recent star system that players can explore as of this past fall.
“Nearly 100 new contracts across 13 different archetypes are now available in the Nyx system, including the return of entry-level favorites like Courier and Delivery Pilot missions that invite any aspiring citizen to explore a career in transport,” the official page for this mini-update reads.
“Additionally, many new contracts include a variety of gameplay opportunities previously unavailable in Nyx, such as Ship Wave Attack and Draw Out Boss, joining expanded offerings in Cargo Recovery, Resource Gathering, Missing Persons, Bounties, and more, while some offer unique blueprints in return.” The game doesn’t give an exact list of missions, but the live patch notes do give a general idea of what to expect.
This massive new wave of missions comes on top of 4.7’s huge update that included the large multi-part mission “Operation Breaker Stations,” as well as, of course, the capacity to craft.
