I wonder how much success BackerKit will have. They are well placed in terms of name recognition. Most seasoned Kickstarter users would have likely used BackerKit for at least 1 Kickstarter project.
However, even with that, there is always inertia. People don’t want to have to change what they’re doing for no real benefit. Yes, there is the blockchain thing, but many people either won’t know about that, or care if they do. So for many people the “do nothing” option and not change may be the default option they go for.
