Next month, Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis will get its newest playable class, the Slayer. The reveal happened In the latest NGS headline broadcast, along with more of the spring updates to come.
The new Slayer class will be added in April. Before then, there will be limited time tasks added that you can use to get Slayer Operation Prep tickets, which you can use then to gear yourself up with gunblade weapons.
Between now and then, the mid-April update, there’s still much to do. Today’s update began the Giant Mutants limited time event. This is part two of the event, which sees big bosses, like Waulon Geo and Garongo Geo spawn in Retem, North Aelio, and Kvaris. The event also opens rank 2 to the Geometric Labyrinth.
Next week, we can expect the spring 2023 event to begin, with a full redecoration of the terrain just in time for spring. There will also be some Hululu Rappies to celebrate the new season, and even the Hululu Emperappy will pay a visit. Expect new 8-star weapons, co-op trials that will feature special characters, and event navigator Xiandy.
Through the rest of March there will be additional spring events, Mission Pass NGS Season 18, new limited time quests, and a brand new course for field races. Of course, if you’re looking for a new look, there will be a number of scratch tickets, including one offering past items, and another for sci-fi inspired outfits.
