The season end of the Mythic Dungeon International global finals will take place this weekend in World of Warcraft, with a $300,000 pool on the line awaiting the fastest and best in dungeons and MMO esports.
Blizzard made a new announcement that the global finals will show off the top dungeon runners in the world and they’re putting people to the test even more this time, by raising the Keystone level 18 to level 20 dungeons. The live broadcasts will take place all through Halloween weekend. The event starts on Friday, October 29 and will run through the end of the event on Sunday, October 31.
The format will be initially the best of three double elimination round followed by a best of five grand final match. The teams taking part include Ambition, Incarnation, Aster.Y, Obey Alliance, Complexity, Perplexed, Echo, and Team Name. Which one will get it all together to be the fastest, most decisive victor? We’ll know on Sunday who gets the bragging rights and cash prizes.
There’s just this last weekend to prove who’s the fastest and most strategic dungeon champion. Although the Hallow’s End event is still running in Azeroth, there are still tricks and treats waiting to be enjoyed in this global esports event.
To pick the champion, the top six teams from the global region will join the top team already waiting from China, and the top team that’s still standing from the Last Stand Tournament. The action for the three-day grand finals begins on Friday at 1pm Eastern on the Warcraft YouTube channel. Saturday and Sunday’s final round will also start at 1pm each day.
So if you’re looking to spend your spooky weekend this year with a different kind of treat, you can find out all about the event, teams, players, and more over at the World of Warcraft esports announcement post here.
