The next generation of PlayStation VR was unveiled, and we’re already starting to see some of the titles confirmed to be coming alongside the updated VR headset. One game, the VR MMO Zenith, confirmed it will coming to the PSVR2 on launch day.

The updated PlayStation VR2 will be launching in February 2023, selling for $549.99, according to Sony today. The new headset for the PlayStation console will see improvements over the initial PSVR, including adaptive triggers much like the Dual Sense controller for PlayStation 5, as well as headset feedback, enhanced tracking, and a massively boosted resolution with a screen resolution of 4000 x 2040 HDR (2000 x 2040 per eye).

It just so happens that Zenith, the VR MMO that is on Oculus and other VR platforms today thanks to Steam, will be launching with the headset when it hits next February. Zenith is already on PlayStation VR, so those players who own the MMO already will be getting a free upgrade to the PlayStation VR2 version when it launches.

In a tweet, developer RamenVR teased that Zenith will be seeing a “massive graphics” upgrade, and the upcoming PSVR2 version will use the new features such as the adaptive triggers and headset feedback. The team is promising players a “next-level immersive experience.”

A new trailer to celebrate the announcement was also released, showing off a bit of upcoming content as well, including the new early-game dungeon and raid coming with the next major patch. You can check out the trailer in the embed above. In case you wanted. to know our thoughts on the MMO, check out our review from earlier this year.
