 The latest update to World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Classic  brings back The Black Temple. Take on Illidan Stormrage himself if you’re at level 70 + and you want the classic challenge when it unlocks. The update also adds the Battle for Mount Hyjal to take on the demon Archimonde, in addition to fixes and quality of life updates.

The raid content will unlock on Thursday, January 27th at 3 p.m. PST, so as of this update you’ll be able to complete the required attunement quests that let you access the raids. You’ll have to complete these quests once per character. so If you are looking to raid when they open next week, now is your chance to get them done.

With The Black Temple arrive Epic Gems and they’ll be available from both raids through mining in Mount Hyjal or as rare drops from The Black Temple. Netherwing daily quests are open as well where you can earn Netherwing reputation in Shadowmoon Valley. If you reach Exalted reputation you’ll even be able to have a chance of getting an Epic Netherdrake Mount.

Burning Crusade Arena season 3 opens with this update, with the matchmaker adjusted to increase the range of possible opponents you can face. Other changes in the update include adjustments to bosses and Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep which now drop an additional class set token for a total of 3 per battle. All dungeon bosses also now have a chance to drop Epic Gems in Heroic difficulty. There’s a new questline for Warlocks that will let them summon an incubus. And there are lots of UI changes as well as bug fixes that will help things run more smoothly.
