Blue Army dominance came to Albion Online for the Guild Championship for season 13. Although the competition was narrowed down to top teams who fought hard, several players returned to Blue Army in time to show their real strength to be crowned the winners of season 13. Plus, the Crystal League crowned a champion, all in the buildup to the coming of season 14, by ending things on a high note.

Blue Army’s point total by competition’s end was over one million season points, a marker that is the highest ever in one of these competitions at 1,142,391. To add to the dominance over the rest, Blue Army’s secondary guild, Blue Army Freedmen, took second place with over 750,000 season points. The next place team took 579,181 points.

The events to close out season 13 also included the Crystal League Championship, which took place during the weekend of September 18-19th. The top 8 5v5 teams battled it out for glory, as determined by a series of competitive rounds. These championships can be lengthy and highly competitive, so this time was no different. The finals were between Wendy’s and naptime, with naptime victorious. A team called naptime was definitely not sleeping when they fought it out to take the title.

It has been an exciting September for Albion Online, and one with lots of high-stakes competition now ended and about to begin. The stakes will be shaken up and raised pretty soon in some exciting ways. Energy Surge Season starting tomorrow, this was the way to cap off another great season and make way for the in-between surge, with its accelerated schedule and steadily shifting stakes, and look forward to the opening of season 14 and the new changes to Hideouts and setting up strategic HQs.
