This came up in another discussion. The use of the Classic Dragonlance mark was a result of WorC’s settlement with Weis and Hickman’s lawsuit.
Effectively, it denotes not so much the continuity of plot, but that the World of Krynn Weis and Hickman are writing about is the original 1st Ed world, not a 5e world where Women can be Knights of Solamnia and Gully Dwarves aren’t ridiculed for being genetically stupid., etc..
